Mini Dental Implants in Seacoast New Hampshire
Millions of people around the world are missing enough teeth to require the use of a denture. Many are having a difficult time keeping their dentures secure, particularly in the lower jaw. If you have these problems, you already know about the embarrassment of slipping dentures, not being able to eat the foods you love and issues with the denture adhesives.
Dental implants offer a way to keep your dentures in place and allow you to speak and chew with confidence. The use of implant-supported dentures has been successful for thousands of people.
Why Choose Mini Dental Implants?
For patients who do not have sufficient bone volume for traditional implants, the mini dental implants are a great choice. Because of their smaller size, the procedure to place mini implants is much less invasive and can often be used for patients with less than ideal bone volume.
Depending on your specific dental condition, there may be little or no downtime following the mini dental implant procedure. In some cases, Dr. Asha can provide an immediate temporary prosthetic for you to wear while the post integrates with the bone. In approximately three months, you can receive your permanent restorations.

The Process
To find out more about our dental implant services Click Here to set-up a 60 minute free consultation appointment with Dr. A.
At your consultation appointment, we will assess your your complete medical and oral health and explain all your treatment options, requirements and concerns so you can arrive at an informed decision.
The next step is to conduct a CT Scan (Cone Beam). Clinical examination combined with the CT, is necessary and prudent for establishing the best possible treatment plan for dental implants. Then we will book a 90 minute appointment where we surgically place the dental implants.
During the procedure, implants are placed in the jaw. This procedure is done under local anesthesia. Your existing/new denture is modified to snap on to the implant abutments. The denture will be fully secure but can easily be removed for cleaning. Discomfort from the procedure is usually minor.
